SHS TALIDHAY: STARTLINGLY ONE OF A KIND
By Hazel Louise J. Albacite
If the Senior High School Talidhay were a spectacle, it will be a grand fireworks display on a New Year’s Eve..
Senior High, the newest addition to the SCC community, surprisingly showcased various performances of songs, dances, and acrobatic feats intended not only for entertainment but also for educating our minds how to enjoy and embrace moments that we cannot rewind.
The day-long episode was not only limited to stage acts for Talidhay, the official name for Senior High School Day, also catered the need to socialize with others through games and sports. However, everyone who heard the news around the campus could not wait for the night when all you have to think about is how to live in the moment.
Indeed, 13 proud participants performed before the eyes of the awaiting audience. These are: HUMMS (Holy infant Seminary), CTEAS Clubs – TLMS, EWE, and Mentors, White Tigers Latin-American Dancers, White Tigers Hip Hop Group, GAS with their adviser Ms. Esther Marie Ringon, TECVOC-ICT with Ms. Marissa Quipot and Ms. Jezza Marie Ringon, TECVOC-HE with Ms. Michelle Diaz, ARTS TRACK with Ms. Aris Pet Angeli Suarez, STEM (A, B, and C) with Mr. James Nathan Ferrater, Ms. Roselyn Cabusao and Ms. May Chris Mangubat, ABM (A, B, and C) with Mr. Dario Mahalumbay, Ms. Marivic Daniel, and Ms. Jaselle Gahete, STEM (D, E, and F) with Mr. Archie Campaner, Ms. Mary Joy Gicale and Mr. Dennis Don Paulo, ABM (D and E) with Mr. Denmar Libre, and HUMSS-A with Ms. Dayanara Gaan.
The Talidhay only proved that SHS is a new breed of talents worth rooting for in the upcoming intramurals.
