SAINT COLUMBAN COLLEGE
To raise the bar of excellence higher and maintain quality education, SCC Administration, Faculty, and Staff gathered again for the 2nd General Assembly last August 3 at the YDC.
Delivering the Welcome Address, the School President, Rev. Fr. Gilbert M. Hingone, STL also presented the Rationale of the significant occasion that would redefine the institution’s prestige in the years to come.
Rev. Fr. Belstar O. Ediang, VP for Administration and Finance introduced the Annual Implementation Plan and announced the 10 Priorities of the AIP. They were the: Physical Plant which was also discussed by Rev. Fr. Ediang himself; Curriculum by Dr. Mario F. Alayon; Faculty by Dr. Susan Ramirez; Finance by Atty. Beverly Travero; Admin by Rev. Fr. Hingone; Research and Publication by Dr. Gilbert Celesio; Spirituality and Formation by Sr. Ammie Adoremos, CB; Community Involvement Program by Mr. Rosebelt Lomocso; Linkages by Mrs. Mary Jane Omandam; and Student Services Program by Mrs. Janus Agustero-Naparan.
Aside from the ten, the following were also elaborated: Hulip Klase Policy (Make-up/Advance Class Policy), and Submission of Grades Policy by Dr. Agustero; and Retirement Policy by Rev. Fr. Ediang.
Mrs. Omandam and Dr. Celesio facilitated the Open Forum wherein some SCC employees asked questions and addressed concerns that would improve the benefits of SCC family and the upcoming generations.
